“I chose to study Medical Laboratory Science because I believe it will help to improve the quality of health services here in Malawi.”
I applied for the Rare Charity Scholarship because I had no other means to access college fees. I was born into a poor family and I only have one parent, my mother, who is working on Satemwa Tea Estate as a tea plucker.
I chose to study Medical Laboratory Science because I would like to have a career in this field. This is my ambition and my expectation. I am interested in Biomedical Science, which is evidence based on medicine, because I believe it will help to improve the quality of health services here in Malawi.
From university life, I’ve learnt many important things that will help me when I complete my course, like how to make the right decisions, and how to live independently.
Thank you Rare Charity for the wonderful job you are doing for me, and God bless you.
