Bespoke Rare Tea Blend

After a one-to-one consultation with the Rare Tea Lady, Henrietta Lovell will create your own bespoke Rare Tea blend.  This blend will never have existed before, and once it does, it will belong exclusively to you.

Having a bespoke blend created for you is rather like having a hand-made suit tailored to fit you exactly.  The difference is that there are far fewer people who can create a bespoke blend and far few people who have them.

Among those who do are Noma restaurant in Copenhagen and Claridge's in London - alongside private individuals like athletes, royals and Hollywood dignitary. Bespoke blends cost around £7,000 to formulate.

Finding your own perfectly crafted fit is a complex process.  "There is a lot of talking and listening – and tea-tasting throughout" says Henrietta.  "I note clients’ reactions and ask them to try and explain them. Sometimes it can be hard for them to articulate but far easier to access enjoyment. And often the end point can be very far from the initial concept.  What we actually love, is not always what we imagined. It can be quite an adventure.”

What's involved:

  • Creating your unique bespoke tea blend with Rare Tea Company at our central London Offices;

  • A tea tasting and one-on-one consultation session with Henrietta Lovell;

  • Henrietta will then hone your blend.  The process is only finished when you are entirely happy;

  • Your bespoke blend is a lifetime arrangement, and will be available for purchase on request.

Tailor-made Tea Tasting for Two

What's involved:

  • Consultation for two winners and their guests with Rare Tea Company's specialist connoisseurs;
